Data processing of job applicants

This privacy policy also applies to the application procedures of MR Shim GmbH.

MR Shim GmbH ("us", "we", or "our") operates the website (the "Service").

The job applicant ("you", or "your") refers to the individual/entity that has sent us data related to a job position or positions at MR Shim GmbH.

What kind of data are processed by us? And for what purposes?
We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your job application in order to check your suitability for the job position (or possibly other open job positions in our company) and to carry out the application procedure.

What is the legal basis for this?
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application procedure is primarily § 26 BDSG in the version valid from 25.05.2018. According to this, the processing of data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship is permissible.
Should the data be required for legal prosecution after the application procedure has been completed, data processing may be carried out on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 DSGVO, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f) DSGVO. Our interest then consists in the assertion or defense of claims.

How long is the data stored?
Data of applicants will be deleted after 6 months in the event of rejection. In the event that you agree to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There the data will be deleted after two years.
If you have been awarded a job during the application procedure, the data will be transferred from the applicant data system to our personnel information system.
